I\ve given this a lot of thought: how the heck are you supposed to boil down a whole county and cultural experience to just a few words? With great difficulty, but I think I've managed to cut it down to two words.

Let me explain.
These two words cover four entire angles on India.
Tha Shit: Excellent, cool, awesome experience
Tha Shits: Terribly frustrating, annoying, and dangerous
Tha Shits: Dirty (dodging cow pies is no fun)
Tha Shits: Diarrhea.
Not as elegant as Adams' "Mostly Harmless", but it's the best I can come up with.
