Granada

News update from Granada: my soul can now avoid the tediousness of being restless after death because I have now been to and enjoyed the sights of la Alhambra. Trouble is that the famous lion fountain is under restauration and the freaking lions were no-shows. Bummer. The Alhambra also offers breathtaking views of Granada itself and it`s impressive smog.

I may sound a bit negative, but I did truly enjoy myself in Granada. As the last Moorish stronghold in Spain, the city offers a unique mix of cultures which is quite nice. The Albaicin with it´s little shops selling exactly the same things all down the alley reminded me much of some areas of India, the difference being hygene. You don´t have to dodge cow shit in the Albaicin.

Tomorrow, we take the train to Sevilla, where I hope tosee some bullfighting. We´re also thinking about making a day trip to Toledo from Madrid. I hear they make cool swords there.

Toledo est une ville spéciale, avec des murs. Et il est vrai que les épées vont te faciner, j'en ai vu fabriquée en 1973. Bon séjour. Gin
