"Relax: Take it easy, Man"

So I'm now staying at Hoa's, between Danang and Hoi An. Our night train trip North from Nha Trang wasn't very good. We shared a 4 bunk compartment with a family of 4. An older guy, the mother (who slept on the floor!) and two young annoying boys. We made some friends in another compartment so we chatted with them until the kids were asleep.
I'm having a jacket made here in Hoi An (tailored clothing is a cheap specialty here) and following Hoa's advice to "Relax and take it easy". We're planning on visiting the extended family of some of Elise's neighbours and visiting the Marble Mountain. The Mountain is actually a temple complex carved right into the mountain, using various natural and cut caves. From the top, it offers an excellent view of the beach.
I'm personally planning on going to visit the Cham ruins at My Son, but Elise isn't very interested. She's seen it before and can only cope with so much old rock and brick.
Hoa rents out surfboards so I'll try my hand at that. The waves aren't too big and the water isn't very deep, so I should be fine. Besides, all you need is the attitude to be a succesful surfer... right?... right?
I just hope Brice de Nice counts as an instructional video.
