Well, I'm back in Ottawa. I was repatriated due to an enduring mystery illness the doctors have yet to identify. It seems pretty serious and I've spent about 24 hours in the hospital hooked up to an IV, dishing out pints of blood for innumerable tests. I guess I'm not contagious since they sent me home. I need plenty of rest and lots of food in order to rebuild my strength and bodyweight. Starving one's self for a week makes you lose an incredible amount of weight, I don't recommend it. Still feverish, somewhat heavy-headed and mostly able to keep food down. I'll keep updating.
You guys have no clue how pissed off I am at having to cut my trip short.
